The 1-Series is Here!
While I was in Chapel Hill with my mother shopping for her new car, I happened to chance a glance over to the BMW dealer and was delighted to see this beauty parked off to the side of the main lot:
The 1-series are here! BMW’s homage to the old hoontastic 2002 has finally hit US shores. While it’s certainly an intriguing mechanical package (at least on paper), I’m still undecided on if i like the looks. It is somewhat awkward from some angles; you would think they would have at least given it a facelift before sending it over here to make it a bit prettier. It was never very well received in Europe, stylistically at least. More shots below: 
they also had a 135i Sport Package, the twin-turbo 300bhp one that likes to eat babies. I still think it’s funny-looking, but 300bhp is hard to argue with. Unfortunately there were a bunch of morons crawling all over it so I didn’t take many pictures, but here’s a few.
Ohh and just for your viewing pleasure, the E92 M3’s are here too: My goodness.
